Book Cover Designs

This coffee table book for Museum of Modern Art was designed to showcase a colorful and vibrant collection of wildflower paintings by modern impressionist painter Erin Hanson. In addition is the inside title page.

This splashy book cover was created in photoshop by "hand coloring" a black and white photo (see below) to give it a cool 1950's retro vibe featuring the "Aqualillies" synchronized swimmers. Pass the suntan oil!

Below is a book cover designed for the book "Forever Blonde". It takes a deeper look into capturing the memory of glamorous American icon Marilyn Monroe. Gone but never forgotten....

FInally, the last image is a book cover re-design of a collection of deeply smart and poignant essays called "Half Empty" by bestselling author David Rakoff. He makes an inspired case for always assuming the worst-because then you'll never be dissapointed.
